Salkantay Trek Challenge Trek 3 Days / 2 Nights, Our Salkantay hike is fantastic and satisfies the trekker’s ambition to cross high roads without the commitment of any technical climbing. Walking towards Machu Picchu, we will cross the Salkantay pass at 4.600m, and Patallacta will pass at 2,800m. We complete a spectacular crossing over the Cordillera after taking the classic trekking route to Machu Picchu.

From Soraypampa, we gained other outstanding views of the Salkantay Snowflake before beginning the highest pass with views of the highest peaks in the region. We begin our walk in the city of Cusco at 04:00 am to take them for approximately 3 hours to Mollepata where we will stop for the baths, breakfast, and buy some items for the trek,

We will continue an hour by car to Soraypampa where we will begin our tour to Salkantay. When we arrive at Soraypampa, our chef and the rider will fill all the camping equipment and the kitchen items.

We will walk the first 3 hours uphill to reach the highest point of 4,600 mm (the highest). DAY 3“AGUAS CALIENTES” – MACHU PICCHU TOUR – CUSCO

We finish our tour with a special visit to Machu Picchu. We will wake up very early and take a bus for 25 minutes to Machu Picchu at 05:30 p.m; This is the best time to see the «Lost City of the Incas.»
