 2.- Cusco – Upis – Ausangate 7 lakes (2-day tour)

The incredible two-day hike through the 7 lakes of Ausangate begins at the Upis school, very close to the village of Tinky, instead of in the community of Pacchanta.

In winter, you will most likely see exceptional landscapes, such as the snow-capped Ausangate illuminated with a dreamy and magical sunset, and at night you can see the Milky Way.

You must take transport from IPD (The Peruvian Institute of Sport) local «combis» that go from Cusco to Ocongate and Tinki the price is 3 $ or 10 soles once there, you should buy things like water is the last town where you can buy things and stock up on things you forgot in Cusco like pills, etc and then head to the community of Pacchanta.
